In the “Heatray” level in Multiplayer Deathmatch mode, after the Dark Walker drops, destroy it to get a Damage Amplification.
# Play as Alanna (Necris)
At the custom character screen, press Triangle, then enter “phayder” as a code to unlock Alanna (Necris).
# Play as Ariel (Iron Clad)
At the custom character screen, press Triangle, then enter “jihan” as a code to unlock Ariel (Iron Clad).
# Bonus characters
Successfully complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character:
Lauren: Always select the second choice for all missions. Kill Lauren in Deathmatch in Chapter 2 of Campaign mode. Lauren will eventually become unlocked after a subsequent Deathmatch in that chapter.

Enter “Z891 4K88 IN25 79AA” as a case-sensitive code in the European version of the game. Note: You must have a Burnout Paradise license to use this car. Easy Automatic:
Finish the first three missions of the game ensuring you use at least one continue. You will then be prompted to change the game to Easy Automatic before the start of the next mission. Remember, once you change to easy mode, you cannot go back to the standard difficulty for the duration of your game.
Hard Mode:
Finish the game.
Legendary Dark Knight Mode:
Finish the game on Hard Mode.
Dante Must Die Mode:
Finish the game on Legendary Dark Knight Mode.
Super Dante Mode:
Finish the game on Dante Must Die Mode. Super Dante Mode allows players to play through the game with the Devil Trigger permanently activated.
All-star Group Photo:
Finish the game with an S rank on all available missions.
Secret Mission Locations:
Devil May Cry has a number of hidden missions dotted throughout the game for the player to discover; see below for a full list.
* Mission 3: Fall back in the water where the skullheads were located.
* Mission 3: You will start near the Judge of Death. Press X to get the secret mission.
* Mission 3: After you get chased by the Phantom, at the end of the hall will be a door to the left. Enter it.
* Mission 4: Return to the room with the power-up statue. You will have an encounter with the spider in the hall, just escape to the nearest door, then go back out.
* Mission 4, Part 2: Go to the airplane room after the panther has been defeated, then take the elevator down.
* Mission 7: Kill the enemies in the sewer hall, then go the pipe room (where the key was located).
* Mission 11: Go through the door at the start of the mission.
* Mission 14: Check the skeleton of the boat from the previous mission.
* Mission 15: Check the skull carving underground in the previous mission.
* Mission 16: Defeat the blob Boss, then go to the airplane room.
* Mission 16: For a second secret mission, go to the coliseum.
* Mission 17: Go through the warp zone, then cross the broken bridge without falling.
* Mission 21: Check the wall on the opposite side of the power-up statue.
